Hip Kidz or Fashion Faux Pas?

Since when is wearing your old ratty pajama bottoms out in public the new black? Come on!

I am all for making your statement with fashion but that is simply crossing the line. To the tween who had perfectly manicured nails, beautifully coifed hair and sporting the latest Coach bag, I have to ask why would you wear the rattiest pair of Dora the Explorer pj bottoms to the Mall? Do you really want that kind of attention? I just cannot wrap my head around any tween male finding that look appealing.

Being a teenager is hard enough honey. Throw on a pair of conventional pants and live your life. Pajamas are meant to be worn in the confines of your own house. For the love of Michael Kors, promise to never do that again.

If she's wearing pj's, I hope at least she accessorized with fuzzy slippers.

t2ed:I honestly couldn't get past the ugly pj's. Flip flops maybe?

perhaps, she is just stupid?

Being around a lot of kids on a daily basis, It would not surprise me if a good hangover left her not knowing she was wearing pj's

Dave: I vote stupid or maybe this is the new fashion craze? I really hope not, cause it is not flattering in the least. I am hoping she is still not old enough to drink, but I guess you never know these days.

Tommy: You see, my snark immediately kicked in and I did not even think of the nothing else clean to wear thing. Doubt it, but I will entertain the thought as I sip a cocktail.

HFS: Duh. Haven't you been keeping up?? Dinner with the Cousin was in Tyson's one of the hugest malls EVER! Geez, a couple of mints on your pillow and some freaking flowers and your brain turns to mush. WHATEVER!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's an oooold trend as far as I know.. I used to wear my PJ pants to school when I was a freshman (like.. 7 or 8 years ago, I lost count) when I was too tired to care, then all the drill team kids started doing it and it took off from there.

You expect me to remember something that happened a week ago????

Geez. LOL

Okay folks, I am officially blaming Katili for this fashion faux pas. She has vowed to NEVER set this sort of trend again, EVER. Bravo Katili for speaking up. I applaud you.

I'm more put off by the fact that tweens own Coach bags, myself. I have worn my pajamas in public, but they did not have cartoon characters on them. Does that make me half guilty?
