The owners decided to change the format. They do that overnight. in the middle of the week. They did the same thing at 100.3 which was an oldies channel. It comes from feedback from advertising and what companies are willing to pay for. They pay for a target audience.Britt probably knows more about it from this point, and why advertisers would want to drop a radio station. I don't know how they decide that dropping sales are because a radio station is no longer reaching a large enough audience. That's what I'm counting on Britt for.
Thanks CEO, I've received an e-mail from the station telling me how they are now called the Globe and that they are the premier "green" station in the area, blah blah. I honestly don't like the music sets, I've switched to 100.3
Yeah, they shouldn't be allowed to do that without warning!
Global, Shomobal....I want my old 94.7 back....that's what we always listened to in the OR!! I will now have to switch to 100.3, also a classic rock station..."I want my MTV...sing it with me....
