Trouble Shooting Phone Technicians

Is it too much to ask for the help desk trouble shooting techie to have a good grasp of the English language? Seems counter productive if I have to spell out the words “family” and ‘practice” to the person I am depending on to get me back online.

Perhaps I am too demanding.

You obvioulsy do not understand. You exist to help the help desk. You help them by justifying their jobs, by giving them a supply of 'stupid end-user stories', by making their 'support ticket' reports look impressive, and by improving their English language skills.

Now, get on with it!

OH GOD I KNOW! And when you're frustrated to begin with, it makes for a very ugly scene. The amount of screaming matches I've gotten into with those techies. ERG!

Dave: Frustrating, I agree.

HomoInsapiens: Thanks for clearing that up for me. Next time I'll do better, I promise.

Joe: Double ERG!
