Overwhelmed

In the past few days I have heard this mantra from a co-worker more times than I care to count.

Perhaps the phrase I am overwhelmed is the new whatever.

It all made me think, perhaps my next life I am going to come back as an individual who will spend her days being overwhelmed and lack knowledge in general. It seems these people have an easier go of it.

If you have any thoughts, now would be the time to share. You see it is National De-Lurking Week. Next thing you know Hallmark will make an e-card for this very special occassion.

Come on, share. You know you want to; why else to you visit so often?

If you came back as an overwhelmed ditz, your former soul would kill the new one. Just come back as you are, they may seem like they have it easier but they don’t know when we are making fun of them.

I de-lurked. Ta-dah!

Are you kidding? Overwhelmed is the new Black.

Much, much easier.

Hello All. My name is Phillip and I am a lurker. My God, this is freeing. I don't have a blog but certainly enjoy this one.

I personally do not want to come back, once on this planet will be plenty. Thankyouverymuch!

PW: Bravo!! I agree, I'd end up killing myself. I hate it when you are right!

Fanny: Seriously? I may have to try it for maybe one day. I'll report back.

Phillip: Welcome! Good point, once around the planet is certainly enough.

Dave: See, I was trying out the overwhelmed thing and you totally fell for it. HA!!

I don't have the will power to lurk.

Anyhooooo....

I am overwhelmed and under knowledged. It sucks ass. Pick a new wish.

Like, maybe come back as a princess instead or something.

I guess we're all overwhelmed because the world has become overwhelming.
Does that make sense??
See, that's an overwhelming question.
After a while the word overwhelm starts to loose meaning. Everytime you say it, overwhelm, it's like you're misspronouncing it or something like that.
And that's an overwhelming feeling.
It's like coming out of the dark after years of lurking and finding out that it's de-lurking week. How about that??? It's overwhelming.

PS: If this comment makes you feel overwhlemed, it's your fault. You asked for it!

I am delurking in hopes that you have some Bombay Sapphire and pickled onions to go with perhaps some pate and crackers.

Then we can get on to important things.

Miss Britt: The CEO states I am a Queen, so I won't bother with anything less in another lifetime...

James: Who knew de-lurking could be so educational for me. Much thanks.

Nikki: Hello!!

CEO: Check, check and check. I am ready for important things, bring them!

This is the first time I've been to your blog, so I'm not technically a lurker. But if I leave and not comment and then come back and comment, I'd be de-lurking. So let's go with that scenario. *And* I went a whole comment without using the word "overwhelmed!" Oh.

Simon completely stole my thunder as I was going to chip in that I'm overwhelmed with the delurking.

But then I'm never shy about adding my $.02 for a while. And people are probably still waiting for their change.

And me, I'm underwhelmed. That's just one step before craptacular.
