Yes friends, the DC Metro area is expecting a “wintry mix” starting later this morning and lasting through the afternoon/evening rush hour.
For those of you who had to rush to the grocery store for the wimpy snow fall we had last week depleting the area of milk, bread and toilet paper, I would like to ask that you refrain from leaving your homes. You should be entirely stocked and really if you can’t handle just snow you will not be able to handle snow, then sleet followed by rain. Followed by who knows what else.
You will thank me later.
I thank you in advance.

There is nothing more humorus than people trying to drive in bad weather. I saw a guy in 4x4 go off of a small bridge once because he was too stupid to take his foot off of the brake, he just slid rite off. (it was only a couple of feet high, no biggy) LMAO!!!
Bless you Wicked, will you write me a note for work?
I am headed home right now!
Make sure that you all keep the blizzard alive and intense. By the time it gets up to NYC, I'm gonna need it be riduculously messy. Oh how I would love to stay in bed tomorrow.
Wallofdenial: Exactly my point. People, just stay off the roads.
Phillip: I got you covered.
Joe: You need messy? Coming right up!!!
You really wouldn't believe what happens when we get the rare frozen precip. here in Mississippi.
Nascar fans + ice = not pretty
Insapiens: No problem, I will get them for you and an extra case just for good measure.
Syd: As a former resident of the South, I feel your pain. At least the crippling effect on the Southerners is warranted, not so much here. Just plain ole hsyteria.
There was a threat of "some" icing WAYYYYY north of Fayettenam...and I still couldn't find a loaf of bread on the way home.
And we really DID need it too.
GRRR!!!
My question is this.....when the forcast snow, is that also a forcast for eating gadzillion pieces of french toast and then having diarrhea????? Looks that way from what people empty the shelves of on snow days...just a thought...
I think for the next storm we all deplete the stores of three more interesting supplies. For example: Caviar, Brie and Wine. If I am going to be housebound that is what I would need.
What about the rest of you?
I can't believe the schools first delayed opening and then cancelled. I live down the street from the school and the roads are fine!
Caviar, brie, wine, red bull, vodka, a 2 liter bottle of soda, and a bag of frozen french fries and I'm all set! :-D
Hope you all made it through ok!
It was a bust for us Joe. Hope you are happily snowed in!!!!! If so, Do I need to send up the supplies or did you raid the grocery store last night?
Have a great weekend!
