Annoyances

Photobucket

I am a firm believer that if you are contagious, you should stay at home and keep your germs to yourself. I do not understand those who show up to infect the rest of us with no regard for the better good. People, use your days off wisely. If I hear one more co-worker bemoan the PTO (paid time off) system of our workplace as the perfect excuse to spread the plague, someone is going to get hurt.

Our trip to New York was fabulous but I contracted the cold that was being spread by at least 5 co-workers. Once my health resumes and I get my work caught up, I will give you all the details.

If you catch this awful cold, guaifenesin is your friend. Take the maximum dose, ingest ibuprofin and acetaminophen alternately every four hours, lots of hot tea, rest and for the love of God, do not infect your workplace. Take the time off!!!!!

Stay well friends.

Hope you feel better. I've somehow managed to avoid the plague so far, despite Virgina being hit hard.

You prescription is two beers and sleep. Listen to your ex-lawyer.

And I'm pretty sure that guaifenesin is the name of a VW advertising campaign.

Bradley: Hand washing, it's not rocket science. Glad you have avoided it all thus far.

Pinar: Thanks friend.

CEO: I was so sick, alcohol was unbearable. I KNOW!!!! Vitamin G = Mucinex; round the clock.

t2ed: Advice taken, ex-esquire. I think the guaifenesin campaign ran right along with fahvrenoogan - right?

NyQuil. It's the only medicine you need. Well, except for DayQuil, which is NyQuil without the instant coma additive.

Sending good vibes your way.
About ten years back I worked in a place where the admin asst. was called the "plague carrier."
Her standard answer to us for coming in sick - "I don't want to waste my paid days off being sick."
Grrrr...
Glad you got up to my neck of the woods.

Mmm... I'm a firm believer of emphasizing my contagious-osity in order to get out of several situations.

Like work.

OMG, yes!!! I cannot even tell you the number of times I have the plague each year thanks to students and co-workers who insist on coming to school while sick. Ugh. No one wants your nasty germs!!

So sorry you have been laid up with the yuck. I hope you are feeling much better by now. Can't wait to hear about New York.

Hurry and get well - Vicks Vapor Rub applied liberally to your feet, covered with warm socks will stop coughs almost instantly. Wishing you well.
