Correct me if I am mistaken. Isn't Ebay an auction site? A site where more than one person bids for an item of interest? This is the norm, isn't it?
Why, then, am I receiving berating e-mails from a co-bidder? Listen lady. This is how it works. If you want the item bad enough, keep bidding. Don't send me repeated e-mails telling me what you think of my bidding prowess.
I really didn't want the item that badly; how can I resist now? Game on. Bring it sister, just keep the bids flying!

LOL!!! I just ran across your blog surfing through BE and this post caught my eye - how insane that someone would actually harass you by email about an item you are mutually bidding on! You could probly get her in trouble for doing that - or just get even by jacking up the price and making her pay dearly for it!! Too funny!
I would report her to Ebay...they'll boot her ass for being all up in your grill!
I agree with you both, but it was more fun jacking up the price of something that would not have sold for the amount she ended up paying. You wanna play, let's play! It certainly doesn't rule out reporting her....
You should report her to ebay. Bidders aren't supposed to harrass other bidders. That's just ridiculous!
It's her money, if she wants to be an idiot lets all play. I figure if you just leave her alone she can spend extra for everything on ebay and the sellers will love her.
NICE!
I'm the same way. She should have just backed off and you probably would have changed your mind. But now! Now spend every waking moment destroying her happiness. heh heh heh.
Have a great day lover!
Outrageous!
No seriously, she must have contacted you through Ebay message service. You can report her as being abusive or threatening.
Hi All:
I haven't decided what my final action will be with my fellow Ebayer. I will most likely report her. Thanks for all the encouraging comments!
I'd definitely report her, but not until after I drove up the price of whatever it is - LMAO
up in your grill, eh? how does one get up in another's grill? classic. i'm with you, friend. it's go time now! you bid like crazy...you have principles, right?! amen.
I've been doing a lot of buying and selling with ebay recently. The first thing I would say is unless she threatened your life, I wouldn't bother reporting her. Ebay says one thing but what actions they take are entirely different. It would probably be more fun just to bid her up as a senseless act of revenge.
The thing I have noticed about Ebay in the last two weeks is that all the loonies have come out to play. Bidding on most auctions is very slow and there seem to be a lot of inexperienced bidders stepping into the breach. I have dealt with a lot of great people through Ebay but I have never seen so many rude assholes as I have in the last 14 days.
Damn, that lady must've wanted that item really bad, but I would've done the same thing you have and kept bidding for it to get it lol
Are you sure it wasn't the seller baiting you to up your bid?
Tricia: I thought that also. I was half expecting the seller to contact me with the 2nd chance option, it didn't happen. C'est la vie. I didn't want the item and the person who e-mailed me ended up paying triple what it was worth.
